Dealer of the Year
We constantly review and improve the display standards throughout our Second Nature dealer network, to ensure our customers experience the latest trends in modern and traditional kitchen design. A key element to achieve this improvement is the Second Nature dealer of the year competition.
This is a biennial event carried out by an independent research company to recognise excellence across a number of important criteria, including branding, product on display and retail environment.
Entry is compulsory and over 200 dealers were audited in the 2009. The national winner was
Umbermaster in Broadstairs, Kent.
(Dealer of the year does not currently apply to Northern Ireland and Ireland)
The team at Kent-based Umbermaster is celebrating after scooping PWS’ national award for Second Nature dealer of the year. Facing stiff competition from over 200 PWS Second Nature dealers across the country, Umbermaster rose to the challenge taking top honours as the overall national winner.
Entry to the Awards is compulsory and independent auditors were commissioned to assess Second Nature dealers on a number of key criteria, including branding, product and retail environment. The biennial audit culminated in a mystery shop of the 9 regional winners which focused on the customer experience, including service levels, design expertise and aesthetics. The auditor commended Umbermaster for their highly attractive displays, friendly and knowledgeable staff, coupled with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
A delighted David Bailey, Umbermaster’s Managing Director said, ‘The team is delighted to be crowned Second Nature Dealer of the Year, it’s testimony to the ongoing hard work and dedication of our staff. Having invested heavily in new and inspirational displays it’s rewarding that the auditor was so impressed with the showroom. In the previous audit Umbermaster were the South East regional winner so triumphing as the 2009 national winner has instilled confidence and pride throughout the company.
